Crab Fest - Rotary Club of Wickenburg
The Rotary Club of Wickenburg is hosting its annual Crab Fest on March 22 at the Wickenburg Community Center. This year, the proceeds from the dinner and bar will go to the Wickenburg Community Services Corporation for the new Senior Center on Wickenburg Way. As a double bonus, the Wellik Foundation will match the Rotary’s contribution 1 to 1.
Crab Fest will serve all you can eat crab, served with coleslaw, corn bread, corn on the cob, and dessert. Beer and wine will be available for an extra charge. Over 700 pounds of crab will dress out to a shipment of 400 pounds which is 1.5 pounds of crab per person. Seating is limited to 200 people and the $45 tickets can be purchased online at http://www.rotarycrabfest.com. Contact any Rotarian if you need help with the online site.
There will be live music, a silent auction and hermit crab races to entertain everyone as Rotarians raise money and have fun on this special night. Event chairman Laura Coughanour promises “good food and good times for a cause!” Doors will open at 5:30 PM and dinner is served family style at 6 PM.
