Event Description:
Calling all Nature Rangers! Join us at the Hassayampa River Preserve to learn about how to identify animal signs and scat, and discover clues from owl pellets, during classroom and guided walk activities. *The Nature Rangers Program is structured to give children ages pre-school to 12 a meaningful outdoor experience to build lifelong stewards of the outdoors. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To sign up, please contact the Preserve Nature Center at 928-684-2772.
Location:

Hassayampa River Preserve. The Preserve is located 3 miles south of Wickenburg on US Hwy 60 (mp 114). From Phoenix, take Grand Avenue/US 60 north towards Wickenburg. The Preserve entrance is located on the west side of the highway at milepost 114.

Fees/Admission:

$5/person, children 12 years and under are free. Maricopa County Parks annual pass holders get in free, as do Friends of Hassayampa and members of the Arizona chapter of The Nature Conservancy. National members of The Nature Conservancy get in for $3/person. The Preserve is open Wednesday to Sunday from 8am-5pm.
